Brief

Scania (GB) Limited required a new Headquarters in Scotland and in partnership with West Ranga (Eurocentral) Limited, development land was identified and secured.

CHALLENGE

The design of the building to included integrated category B fit out was a critical part of Scania (GB) Limited’s requirements to relocate their Bellshill operation. The tenants design standards had to be developed to a deliverable model alongside complex AfL negotiations. In partnership with West Ranga (Eurocentral) Limited, Innes Building Consultancy provide Project Management Services

KEY ASPECTS

Innes Building Consultancy formed a design team with exceptional industrial & logistics experience to develop and deliver the complex project over a 2 year period.

Management of complex Agreement for Lease agreements and modifications to base build design to accommodate occupier requirements and specific tenant direct installations.

Innes Building Consultancy appointed to Project Manage the development on our client’s behalf whilst also being retained to provide a design coordination and delivery service for Scania (GB) Limited. Scania Eurocentral provides 43,500sqft of specialist vehicle servicing workshops and HQ office accommodation within Scotland’s central belt and logistics hub.

ESG enhancements were introduced by the tenant during the contract period, requiring significant redesign and change control action, all of which was delivered within the 55 week construction period.
